GARNER, N.C. – Dec. 15, 2011 – Butterball, LLC, the nation's largest turkey producer, today announced its support of The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) as the Gift-in-Kind (GIK) turkey provider through July 31, 2012. As a GIK supporter of the college, Butterball will donate turkeys for a one-year period to be utilized in the CIA's top educational curriculum at its three United States campuses located in Hyde Park, N.Y.; Saint Helena, Calif.; and San Antonio, Tex.

Through the GIK program, students will receive the opportunity to cook with Butterball's premium turkey products, while already learning about proper food safety practices and turkey preparation techniques in the CIA's industry-leading curriculum.
